We have been going out in the nice spring weather and riding South to the Gearhart estuary, where be can gallop!
And also riding North though the forest trail.
Each ride is mostly beach with a short loop in the dune or forest. The rides are 7-8 miles long.
The horses are in great shape and Nala is enjoying going out in a group.
This past week I also took her out from the round pen to the beach riding solo the whole way for the first time. Before I led her to the beach and rode form there, avoiding the street, gaits and dune traffic…
She did call for other horses but went out just fine. We met the mustangs on the beach on the way home and rode back with them.
Below is the ride of 5/26/16 with Amore and Halla her filed mates! I have left the camera off the last week or so, hands on the reins!
